It was designed for 15 year olds to take a first step into cars and there’s not much room in the car for anyone bigger. Despite my best (...ish) efforts, I’m not getting any smaller. So I’m selling my Formula 1600, but I’m going to buy another car of the same class, with a little bit more elbow room. Some people are coming to look at it this weekend and I’ve already got my next car lined up to buy, we just need to agree on a final price. So there will definitely be more racing in 2018, and I’m also registering for the support race in Montreal again!

Its a dream of mine to get a little open wheeler to do trackday stuff in. Ive never turned a lap in anger but just having a open wheeler, looking over the front wing with something mounted behind me screaming would be so cool.

I wonder what formula mazdas are goin for these days...

The newer carbon-fiber monocoque cars that were just replaced in the IndyCar Pro Mazda series are going for $40-$50k, but you might be able to talk them down if they’re a pro team that is eager to get rid of them.

Any historic open wheeler I think. Their site says anything from Formula Vee to Formula Atlantic/5000 is elligible, including FF. Runs on Formula B Hoosiers.
